Review: The Japanese House - Lilo

The Japanese House makes a return to music with her newest release Lilo.

The synth-pop piece is a melodic periscope into what one feels when they begin a new relationship. The Japanese House explains the song was inspired by one of her best friends encouraging her to begin a new relationship that turned out to be "everything I needed."

It's a serene track, the intro alone whisks you away to that head space where you feel yourself at peace. Sweet vocals and poetic lyricism paint the image in your mind of what the artist is feeling. I found myself putting this song on repeat - it's a very aurally pleasing piece. In fact, I found myself listening to her entire discography on Spotify, and I suggest you do the same.

Listen to Lilo below and tell me what you think.
